Welcome to Kunisuke Coffee, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Tsukiji, Tokyo. This delightful café offers an oasis of calm and greenery amid the bustling energy of the famous Tsukiji Outer Market. Upon stepping through its doors, you are enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere, where lush indoor plants and charming outdoor seating areas create a unique setting that feels like a tranquil escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

At Kunisuke Coffee, the passion for coffee shines through with a menu designed for true aficionados. Whether you're a fan of strong, bold flavors or prefer something light and floral, you'll find joy in choosing from their array of pour-over beans. Patrons rave about the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe light roast, perfectly balanced to highlight its intricate notes while delivering a satisfying caffeine kick. Pair your coffee with their delectable toasted savory scones or indulge in the rich cheesecake, which has been highly praised for its creamy texture and delightful flavor.

The café's ambiance plays a significant role in its charm; the quaint layout is punctuated with live plants that provide a refreshing backdrop, making every visit feel like a mini-retreat. Customers, like Yu Stephanie, have mentioned the inviting outdoor seating, allowing them to enjoy their beverages surrounded by greenery—a perfect spot for a romantic date or a moment of solitude. Despite some minor hiccups with communication, like an unexpected cold chocolate instead of a mocha, the warmth of the staff ensures a welcoming experience.

David Daugherty's review highlights the remarkably friendly staff, emphasizing that the limited seating adds a cozy and intimate feel to the café. While the opening hours may be slightly off from what’s listed online, the wait is well worth it for those seeking quality coffee in a lovely setting.

One visit to Kunisuke Coffee, as noted by Justin Shircliff, reveals it to be an unexpected yet delightful find right by the Tsukiji Market—a must-visit for foodies exploring the area. The café thrives on its unique blend of great coffee, friendly service, and an atmosphere that feels almost forest-like, as described by Piraya Markpoon. It’s a beautiful spot to unwind amid the numerous eateries and market vendors nearby.

In conclusion, if you find yourself wandering around Tsukiji, be sure to take a detour to Kunisuke Coffee. This charming café encapsulates the spirit of conviviality that Tokyo is known for—where every cup is brewed with love and every visit promises a slice of serenity.

My boyfriend and I recently discovered a charming little cafe located very close to the Tsukiji Outer Market. The cafe has a cozy outdoor seating area shaded by greenery and decorated with indoor plants, which immediately caught my attention. A young staff member assisted me with placing my order, but due to a communication gap, one of my beverages may have been a cold chocolate instead of a mocha. The staff were extremely nice about it, offering me a shot of espresso and repeatedly apologizing, though it was not their fault at all. I should have double-checked the bill as well. Despite this minor hiccup, all the staff members were incredibly friendly, and I will definitely be revisiting this cafe in the future.

Lovely staff and a totally unexpected find. Coffee was good! Seating is limited but the live plants everywhere are fun. They opened an hour later than the posted Google hours.

What an awesome cafe. It’s such an interesting layout and ambiance but it works. The coffee was great and the latte delicious. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. You would never expect suck a cafe near the old Tsukiji Market, but I’m glad I found it. A must when you’re in the area checking out all the good eateries close by.

Nice little cafe with a good selection of pourover beans to choose from. I had an ethiopian yirgecheffe light roast that was nicely balanced. Also had a toasted savory scone that was quite good as well. A bit out of the way now that the main tsukiji market has moved but if you happen to be in the area, its a nice place to sit and enjoy the ambience.

Good coffee, good cheesecake and good atmosphere cafe in Tsukiji. Price is very reasonable due to everything is quite great quality. The location is not easy to find but it looks like famous for somehow. It’s like forest inside! very cool and calm!

Super chill place to grab a coffee. The backrooms are fairly covered from the front but a nice break from the hustle and bustle from the nearby fish market. I got an iced caramel latte, it was very sweet, but it was a good buttery caramel and the whipped topping was nice. You do feel fancy whenever they bring out your drink in a wine glass.

Wonderful little shop hidden behind a wall of plants. with cozy seating and chill hip hop vibes. A mashup of styles makes this an eclectic stop for latte chills. Quality drinks. Not much for food but you came here to eat at the fish market anyways. Highly recommended!
